Kayla aka Lady Hoopicorn began her journey in dance with Hip Hop and Salsa, which has progressed to GoGo and Prop Manipulation flow.
This Seattle native was introduced to GoGo at a Coyote Ugly themed bar then traveled to Puerto Vallarta where she became a pioneer in the scene along the Malecon (boardwalk) before finding her home amongst the redwoods in Humboldt County where she has captained the Vagabond Dance team since 2022. In 2023 she also became Production Coordinator for Arcane Artists.
Lady Hoopicorn has performed at hundreds of events and showcases, most notably Burningman and Northern Nights Music Festival. She has performed with artists such as Dimond Saints, Sickick, David Starfire, Henry Fong, Hedegaard, Luca Lush and many others.
Being apart of this wonderful collective has not only allowed her to blossom within her craft, but also learn the position of Dance Captain. Dance has become a safe harbor and wonderful way to connect with like-minded souls and bring expression of self to the community.
