Ashlee, also known as Faye, has been dancing her own life. Growing up in a hispanic family, dancing was a huge part of family bonding. As a kid, she participated in competitive cheerleading and took hip hop classes that taught her a variety of different body movements and the fundamentals of choreography. She’s currently a go-go, flow and pole dancer and she often incorporates props, like silk fans, hula hoops and fire toys, into her performances.
In early 2022, Faye joined the Vagabond Dancers, the resident dance team for Arcane Artists (a music collective and production company) in Humboldt County. Locally, Faye performs regulary for Arcane Artists and the Latin- inspired Fuego party hosted monthly by the Nostalgia Crew. Faye performed at Northern Nights Music Festival in 2022 & 2023, where she featured as a flow and pole dancer at the Bunker Stage, River Stage and Grove Stage alongside her pole troupe LXIX and acclaimed music producers such as SNBRN & David Starfire. Last spring, she performed with LXIX for Wreckno’s sold out show at Arcata Theater Lounge.
Faye is constantly driven by the creative collaborations within her local community and has been excited at any opportunity to reach a larger crowd. She finds creative inspiration from her family heritage, nature and her artistic community. Dancing is where Faye finds peace and community and she wants to share that love with others.
